With over two decades of rigorous academic training and impactful federal service, Dr. Raiford brings an unparalleled depth of expertise to the field of public health consulting.

Dr. Raiford holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Community Psychology from Georgia State University, a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology and Counseling and Guidance from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Florida A&M University. Her comprehensive academic foundation has fueled her innovative approach to addressing public health challenges.

Throughout her distinguished 15-year tenure at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Raiford served in pivotal roles shaping national HIV prevention and treatment policies, particularly focusing on marginalized communities disproportionately affected by HIV, STDs, and violence. Her notable contributions include leading CDC workgroups, authoring influential peer-reviewed publications, and directing major health initiatives and evaluations.
